Clarissa Bonet, a Chicago artist, is acclaimed for her engaging exploration of the built environment. With an M.F.A. in Photography from Columbia College Chicago and a B.S. in Photography from the University of Central Florida, Bonet possesses a solid academic foundation in her craft.

In addition to her artistic endeavors, Bonet has also established herself as a skilled freelance photographer. Her expertise in capturing compelling images extends to commercial, editorial, and fine art commissions, where she brings her unique perspective and artistic sensibility to create visually striking and impactful photographs.

Bonet's commercial work has been sought after by a diverse range of clients, who value her ability to tell engaging visual stories and capture the essence of their brands. Her photographs have been featured in renowned publications such as The Guardian, The Wall Street Journal, CNN Photo, Chicago Magazine, Harpers Bazaar, Juxtapoz, Aint-Bad, The Eye of Photography, Photo District News, and numerous other national and international platforms.

Bonet's artistic vision has earned her a place in the permanent collections of prestigious institutions, including the Museum of Contemporary Photography, the University of Michigan Museum of Art, the Southeast Museum of Photography, the Haggerty Museum of Art, the University Club Chicago, and the JPMorgan Chase Art Collection. Her work also won inclusion in “The Outwin 2022: American Portraiture Today'' at The Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C. 

Clarissa’s artwork is represented by the Catherine Edelman Gallery in Chicago, and La Galerie Rouge in Paris France.
